Kanye West & Jay-Z – Watch The Throne Album Cover | By Riccardo Tisci

When Kanye West or Jay-Z makes an album, the world pays extra attention on their movements. It is especially the case when both of them are working together on a collaborative project, Watch The Throne. Leaks of the cover artwork had been circulating online and now the official artwork is here for our viewing pleasure. The cover was designed by Riccardo Tisci, the Creative Director of Givenchy (we wouldn't expect anything less) with an album release date of August 2nd. And we all know a collabo between Yey and Hov can be nothing less than Freshthanamug!!!

Banksy at MOCA “Art in the Streets”

Though he was not mentioned in any exhibition preview materials, one of our favorites british artist banksy contributes a room full of work in 'art in the streets' at the museum of contemporary art, los angeles. in addition to newer pieces, the banksy gallery features stencils of iconic older works as well as versions of temporary outdoor interventions, allowing greater exposure for those that may have been prematurely removed. The show runs through August 8th 2011 and features other prominent artists including Jean Michel Basquiat, Blu, Banksy, Martha Cooper and Shepard Fairey among others. We've been to the show and give it our Freshthanamug stamp of approval!!!

The BMW Motorrad E-Scooter With Electric Drive

In an effort to design more innovative alternatives for the increasing population of commuters, BMW has designed an all electric, but powerful scooter, that seats two. The future-oriented concept vehicle has a battery that can be charged in less than three hours in a common household outlet. The concept vehicle had two main requirements for its development: dynamic figures comparable to those of a maxi scooter with a combustion engine and a high range in realistic conditions of use. And here's the result: The BMW Motorrad Concept Vehicle BMW E-Scooter. We can't wait to get our hands on one of these and hope the Freshthanamug paint job is available too!!!

O House by Philippe Stuebi and Eberhard Tröger

On both, the front and the lake side, this sculptural villa shows very expressive and ornamental facades. Facing mount pilatus the white concrete elements are dotted with circular openings that allow glimpses into the two-levelled orangery with its exotic plants, as well as the lounge, the guest tract and the staircase accessed through one of the openings at the ground floor. The lake side with superb mountain views of the rigi and the bürgenstock shows off a protruding, glistering loggia made of round glass bricks. Very decorative, such elements are a strong contrast to the rough renderings of the side facades. The basement nestles along the slope and opens into a large fitness area with a 25 meter pool, half inside, half outside, which is inserted in a white terrazzo plate. This terrazzo plate extends gracefully from the pool bar located inside along the boathouse made of white tinted, rough jetted concrete into lake lucerne. With that said, all we can say is "O BABY!!!" This house is Freshthanamug!!! (Especially the view!!!).

Just Done It

Unveiled early this morning at Nike Hong Kong‘s Just Do It media summit, The Field House is a temporary exhibition hosted by the brand with a Swoosh this summer. At heart of the exhibit is “Just Done It”, the centerpiece of the exhibition done by toy designer Michael Lau. Homage to Eric Catona, Sreve Prefontaine, Lance Armstrong, and last but not least, Michael Jordan, Lau creatively rendered each athletes’ achievements in different mediums, from ink on wood work done with ball point pens to the 5-meter tall sculpture, La Main Gauche De Dieu, or Left Hand of God. The exhibit runs July 5th 2011 through August 16th 2011 and looks to be most definitely Freshthanamug!!!

Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport L'Or Blanc

Bugatti has recently teamed up with Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur (Royal Porcelain Manufactory Berlin) to design this one of a kind vehicle, the first to use porcelain elements for the exterior and interior design. The Veyron L'Or Blanc was unveiled at an exclusive premiere ceremony in Berlin on June 30th at the KPM workshops and only one of the models exists. The asking price??? An estimated $2.4 million USD, but regardless of this astronomical cost we still think it's Freshthanamug!!!
